Simplify window fittings
window fitting is usually on the tapes, but what if you dozens of Windows over a large distance before Got – for example, to block an apartment? Measuring the old-fashioned way would be tedious and time consuming, not to mention dangerous. But with the FatMax Tru Laser, complex calculations and production planning is streamlined and safe.

Painting is a Piece of Cake
indoor measurements are cumbersome and imprecise, primarily because the inefficient way in which they have performed. Walking back and forth with floppy, difficult to manage tapes or enlisting the help of friends, you can double your work and give you a backache, but the FatMax Tru Laser measures like a pro. Just in step number one and click, and the space the exact area, volume, size and length are right at your fingertips.

    1. I saw press releases about this product and was one of the first people to buy it, by HOME DEPOT. com for more money than Amazon currently in demand.

      It is well built, intuitive and easy to use.

      Note that Tru this laser is really a laser measuring device. That is, the small laser beam, the measurement – whatever it is shiny on what you measure.
      Not to be confused with the ubiquitous “Sonic Surveyor,” that use a laser pointer. These sound waves are the use of incorrect and wide, making it frustrating / impossible to do something small or subtle measure.

      The product designers have an excellent job. I found that after reading the short manual (a large page could remember) I press the button for each function.

      This device significantly increases the productivity and accuracy in comparison with a tape measure or yardstick. You probably would not us it is for shorter measurements, ie less than 18 inches, but for something more than that it is the weapon of choice.

      The TruLaser for fast and accurate measurement of the dimensions home excellent. For basic things such as room dimensions (distance from wall to wall, ceilings ,…) It is excellent. The attempt to measure the height of a vaulted ceiling with a tape measure requires a ladder, and sometimes two. With this device a person can do the work in about 10 seconds.

      I was pleasantly surprised, I could do more things than I had hoped to measure. As long as you can to catch an edge, the laser is generally capable of a reading (it says take you if they can not). This allows you to measure the internal dimensions of a window (if it is larger than 18 inches or so), and you can measure how far provided the window of the door or an adjacent window (you can cut a piece with the laser catch is).

      The product promises to 4.1 inch accuracy at up to 100 meters range.
      I have done no exhaustive tests, but it was in most cases I tried (30 meters or less) the accuracy was better than promised.

      would After using the Tru Laser for a few days I just do not be without it – a tape measure seems so cumbersome
      and inefficient in comparison.

      I recommend this article.

      Those who have observed these measures Laser notice that it $ 1,000 dollars it cost her only a few years. This is less than 100 dollars. Wow. I think that’s the good news. The bad news is that you give up to do something for the lower price.

      DISTO a measure which I got for about $ 400 a year ago did. It has Leica Opticals exactly how this unity Stanley. Its accuracy is + / – 1 / 16 “to 650 meters. The Stanley unit has an accuracy of + / – 1 / 4″ up to 100 m, but note that a target of 50 ft. I have confirmed 50, ft. is required claim area, but it seems to have a good selection.

      If you do not need the extreme accuracy, this unit is very. It’s the smallest laser action, which I have ever seen, and service its pretty simple. Press the button once, is the laser is turned on, press again, it measures. It can also identify areas, volumes and add more or subtract measurements.

      While the specs. Please mention accurate, they have not mentioned, repeatability, which seems pretty good. Sometimes the repeatability is more important than accuracy.

      In any case, if you can be away with the 4.1 “accuracy, which is a great device for the price.
      ;
      Note: Get hold of any other cheap devices, laser action will be confused. If they are under $ 50, they are not. They use ultrasound and have integrated a laser pointer. Although it because of the laser pointer closer look, they are not. An ultrasound beam at 60 ft. may be located 60 feet wide. They give a reading, but hard to say exactly what they are reading. With this device, you know exactly what you measure because it is red.

    3. As a real estate expert, I use this equipment on a daily basis. It is especially great for indoors, but it works just fine as well as outdoors. On rainy days or when homeowners the houses packed with so much garbage that it is hard to circumvent, this thing saves time and potentially ripped pants and mud-soaked shoes.

      It is very, very closely. Better than a stick and roll as accurate as a tape.

      In the longer distances in the open, it can be difficult, the Red Dot in the bright sunlight on the ground, so if their primary work environment, you may want a unit with a viewfinder as the TLM300 get, especially if you try a small object on the ground. For the measurement on lawns fence to fence, the target is large enough that this is not a problem. But I would like to see a small bubble-level, have on the side of the device, and use maybe a few notches on the front and back as a tourist attraction, like the one on a handgun. Yet this is rarely a problem for my purposes.

      It is also very, very favorable. Similar models from other companies I have seen are well priced one hundred dollar or two higher.

      The holster is nice, and I appreciate that the belt strap is detachable on one side so I do not have to unbuckle my belt to remove it. The unit fits very comfortably within, and is a bit tight.

      The life of the battery (9V) is solid, I only have the battery even after daily use for months to replace.

      This device converts the measured value to the U.S. Customs feet touch of a button and also adds and subtracts from previous measurements. I often use this function in the measurement of objects that have no space to me to Target, like the back of a house. I will measure the length of the lawn, fence, fence, then use the subtract function to subtract the distance between the house and the fence.

      There are a few features I would have liked to see those bubble-level and sight / viewfinder, and it would have been nice if the device had a backlight for the display. But the higher end model TLM300 includes all these functions and an angle measurer. But for the price, this is an awesome tool.

      5-stars on them. This is great!

      I have a Sears Sonic type meter for a year or so heard. It is questionable accuracy, so I was skeptical about purchasing another instrument, especially for $ 100 dollars. I tried the Fat Max, and was amazed at the difference. I know a lot of finished carpentry (crown molding, base, wing) from me and this device is a real time saver. Measuring a room full of furniture with a tape measure with any accuracy can be difficult at best. With the Tru-Laser ’s is a piece of cake. makes in estimating crown or base molding the ability to continuously add measurements overbuying or material underbuying a thing of the past. The only reason I did this not five stars is its use in sunlight. It is very difficult if not impossible, pickup of the laser outdoors in bright sunlight. A backlite display would be nice too. But all in all, this device is well worth the $ 100 dollars. I have tested it against a tape measure and it proved to be very accurate. Let’s face it, tried a 25 ‘wall with even a measuring tape to a piece of the crown molding I would cut the image margin for error measure would be larger than the 4.1 “from the Tru-Laser.

      I bought a craftsman ultrasonic measuring tool, and they promptly returned to the test and reading through the manual to find out that it needed a 10ft x 10ft wall around its ultrasonic signal off of Bounce at a distance of 40 ft. It do not be fooled by the ultrasonic model laser pointer, the laser is only for the purposes and not used for measurement.

      I searched online and read good reviews about Stanley’s FatMax laser measuring tool, and bought it at Home Depot for the same price as from Amazon ($ 99) listed. The sales tax analysis, than about the same as shipping from Amazon. This tool, unlike any ultrasonic model can measure distances by furniture laden room, since only the laser beam (a reflected laser light) need to pass between the furniture. The ultrasonic models’ sound beam “spreads out quite a lot and makes measurements in the vicinity of each obstacle impossible.

      I tested my particular Stanley laser measuring instrument and performed much better than the data stated on the box. I could just measure from 1′7 “to 80ft. Some dark color was only a maximum range of 50 ft (box specs), but it reflects from the white areas or tree trunks ft worked well for 80 measurements.
      ;
      For the physics or engineering inclined, it uses the phase shift method for measuring its distance from a standard 630-690nm diode laser (<5 mW) and made some kind of optical sensor from Leica Geosystems. < br />
      If you measure the distance from your fence at the side of a barn outside, avoid ultrasonic model and go in any case with a laser measuring instrument like this. I’m not sure when this product came out, but its price should it be a product of the year. Plus it makes for a great dog / cat toys!
